Everyone is OK and has validity and importance.
Everyone has the capacity to think.
People decide their story and destiny, therefore these decisions can be changed.

about-me

Mary Dees BSc, MSc, Dip Couns, Registered MBACP

My name is Mary Dees, I am a Registered Psychotherapist with BACP, my main modality is Transactional Analysis but I also borrow from other techniques such as body psychotherapy, gestalt, mindfulness and others. I am a member of the UKATA and BACP and abide by their code of ethics and professional practice. A requirement of BACP and UKATA is that I have regular supervision and that I have myself been in therapy. This is for your safety and improves my effectiveness.

I provide counselling and psychotherapy to individuals in the Stockport area. I have been facilitating individuals and groups in collaboration, communication, resolving conflict and problem solving/decision making for 20 years. This has been in schools, public sector, private sector and community groups. I also have experience of mentoring young people. I believe transactional analysis can really transform people’s lives and relationships.

In my private psychotherapy practice, I see both individuals and couples.

I will work with you to an agreed timescale or on an open-ended basis depending on what you want. I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a confidential and non-judgmental environment.
